LIVE! 1 APT CONTACT CE

OR

RECORDING! 1 APT NON- CONTACT CE

Description

Advances in the field of the relational neurosciences has brought to us a neurobiological understanding of attachment theory as proposed by Bowlby, Ainsworth, and Main.  Honoring Bowlby’s hopes that attachment theory would inform clinical practice, understanding the neurobiological underpinnings of disrupted attachment helps inform treatment interventions.  Child and play therapists can learn to view behavioral, somatic, and symbolic themes in play therapy through the lens of attachment theory, looking for opportunities to provide the client with new attachment experiences.
